Las Vegas is in the worst drought of it's history, therefore it is very important to come up with some new water saving techniques. Consider the fact that 400 square feet, or a 20 x 20 foot area of real grass consumes approximately 25,000 gallons of water a year. About 70% of the water used is outside the home. We believe Waterless Grass is one of the best ideas. It is a great alternative or addition to the desert rock landscape.

The Waterless Grass™ Turf is "exclusively" manufactured in a very unique and proprietary 7 step process.
1.
Resin Pellets are melted.
2.
The pellets are then "extruded" into fiber monofilament (this is where the UV and color concentrates are added).
3.
The monofilament is then put through a special heating texturizing process that curls the fiber into a spring set fiber.
4.
The finished spring-set fibers are then tufted (sewn) into a primary double stable-loc backing.
5.
Then the tufted turf is sent to the "Coating Mill Oven" for the secondary final backing.
6.
Once the selected backing is melted onto the turf, it is then "tip sheared" to give the top fibers a smooth and uniform composite.
7.
Once the turf is complete, it is sent to the Waterless Grass™ Warehouse in Dalton, Georgia, where it is cut to size and shipped out.
